A few years back I just had to look at the stuff one day at Walmart. Then I made an impulse buy. I thought I would use it in my lefever with damascus twist barrels using twelve gauge all brass shotshells from Presidente in Brazil. It coated my barrels inside with a plastic like film and I haven't used it since. Then a light bulb turned on. Use it in the handgonne! Surely cannon fuse would light it? I apparantly did not get the ball totally hammered onto the powder and 50 grains made a whooshy 'pop'. So I was more careful and the next shot made a pleasing BOOM! I fired eight or so shots, but was all over the place, not touching a printer paper in the middle of my carboard backer at twenty five yards. But I had some fun. One good flush of hot water under the kitchen faucet and the gonne was clean.
I had to tell a Japanese guy at the range to tell his dad not to load his pump shotgun with slugs while I was walking back from the target. I saw him doing it. After that he checked with me before loading and shooting. Well, if no one has ever told you?
