I think I'm going to case color mine. It's the same one you show in the picture.
I think I will go with a .58 as I already have one in that caliber and two molds for it.
I'll mill out another brass flash divert-er for sure and probably forge a pistol grip strap in Hawken style.
The bench looks like it's owned by someone who gets things done on it! :wink:

Why not make a pistol grip stock instead?

I could but have made a Hawken style grip strap for one of my bp cartridge rifles and like the look and feel of it so well that I will do the same on this gun. The shape goes well with the main spring bow.
 
I think it did originally as a buggy rifle but the flash diverter required and extended nipple and the half cock no longer would engage so it was removed.
