Length of pull? Ballpark estimate on trigger pull (and how much trigger movement before discharge)? I don't recognize the maker of the action, so I'm not sure what to expect.

Does price include shipping?

Thanks,
Jim

I noticed there wasn’t a response to the type of under hammer action on the sale item. In Texas, we call that a Mims Action. Bob Mims of Odessa, Texas designed that action in the 1970’s and sold a lot of them. The moulds to cast the components for the action were sold. The under hammer action is currently marketed as a “kit” through the Log Cabin Shop. The action is very simple, quick and dependable. The trigger guard serves as the main spring to drive the hammer. The trigger and hammer are pinned within a bar which is attached to the stock, tang and ring behind the barrel. The barrel is held in place with 2 set screws to the breech plug. Attached is a pic from an old Log Cabin catalogue. The price for the under hammer action kit is currently $145 (not $118). Also, I have attached another pic of a Mims action, coincidently it is also attach to a Bill Large barrel. Thanks for reading!🐮

I don't believe they have the parts anymore

That action is sold as a "Billinghurst type" action in kit form from the Log Cabin Shop and maybe others. One of the table shooters uses one very effectively.
