I got a Traditions Phila derringer > It came without the tenon pin and wasn't drilled for it. What could I use instead of finding a replacement?
Dear Creek has the replacement tenon pin for a $1.00. Click on the link below and you'll find most all replacement parts for the derringer. It will say for a CVA derringer but the parts are the same for the Traditions derringer as both were made by the same manufacturer in Spain.

Almost any sort of metal rod and a little filing ought to do it. A tenon pin for a derringer doesn't really need to contain any "top notch" metal. Nail,Welding rod, drill bit, etc.all good sources. Making "things" gives you bragging rights.
