Starting another build, A flint pistol in .45 with a 12 inch 7/8th barrel. This one will be needing a brass nose cap and is going to have a small wedge and tenon holding the front portion of the stock to the barrel or a pin depending on the look. Not sure about using an under rib. I will be trying to get a traditional look of something like this that was made around 1780 -1820 Any of you builders know of a suitable cap from any supplier? Thanks.
