What are you guys using to cover the butt of your rifles, I have a Lyman GPR .54, 80gn round ball, and fired it for the first time last weekend. Everything was fine until the 10th round or so when the top cresent got me square in my bicep. Then 2 rounds later same spot and it smarted pretty good. So I'm thinking of a leather recoil pad that would lace up or possibly a leather Sling that also would cover the butt. That upper cresent could cut paper I swear. I said that day, I was going to run a file and blunt the end a bit, but I'm not sure I'm wanting to do that.
Show me some pictures and links to products that you all have used or done to eliminate the problem.
Thanks
