This 54 caliber has been reworked to be a cut above average. The stock has been reshaped and trimmed down then lightly stained and an oil finish. The escutcheons have been made smaller and inlet into the stock and a toe plate added. The factory lock escutcheon has been replaced with a inlet smaller one after reinletting the lock for a better fit. A jag is excluded in the cap box that was deepened so the lid closes properly. Some marks in the blueing as one might expect from a rifle of this age. Bore is bright and lock and triggers work as new. Weight is 8.6 pounds. $500 shipped to the lower 48 states.
