Make you feel better if you're having problems with a project. Making the part will be the easy part. Reassembling the trigger will be the challenge.

I recently acquired a Swiss percussion target rifle. The sight lead screw and slide is broken, the cock would not set at full cock. The wire size trigger (shown) was bent back and up and the Gaboon ebony ramrod is broken off making it about six inches to short. While trying to bend the trigger back in shape it broke off at the root where it connects to the piece shown. It apears to have been connected with a tiny screw. Very tiny if it is a screw/stud. I'd have to use the microscope to see if it has threads.
Back when I was a kid we still had jewelers and watch repair people we could have taken the entire trigger assembly to for repair. Those craftsmen are long gone I'm afraid.
So far I have everything back in order except for the trigger and ramrod. As usual I'll get everything back the way it was, shoot it till the next one comes along and in the collection it'll go.
This rifle is very interesting as it has no bayonet lug and is a lightweight at a very manageable 12 1/2 pounds. .418 bore, .438 groove dia. 32 constant twist and a perfect six groove bore. Percussion Schuetzen rifles are my weakness. :)

The trigger is a four lever.

Yep. I use music wire. Getting the levers and springs in the correct orientation is the trick. If only I had a diagram.
