Friends,
Just a reminder that the largest single collection of firearms that were used in Texas from the earliest days of colonization to the firearms of the 1880s will be on display at THE ALAMO here in San Antonio until 15APR15.
The historic display is FREE & (due to what it cost to put it together) will likely NOT ever be repeated.
ALSO: 06MAR15 is ALAMO REMEMBERANCE DAY & the day starts at 0500, with the annual memorial service for the Texican & Mexican patriots, who died at The Shrine.
(Floral tributes to the dead are WELCOMED & may be laid anywhere on the grounds.)
IF you plan to visit, you should check out: www.thealamo.org for the detailed schedule, as there are numerous events from 0500-1830 that day.
(The day will end with the final memorial event for this year at 1730 hours.)
yours, satx
