It is never too late to start hunting. The thing about hunting is that it requires only that you bring your favorite rifle/musket with you when you:
Go for a walk
Sit down to read book
Sit down to write a loved one a letter
Sit down to pray or reflect
Go mushroom picking
Go berry picking
Go bird watching
Go to cut boughs for wreaths or an xmas tree
Go to have a good restful nap
Go to explore for historic relics, locations.
Go fishing
Go paddling
Go for a picnic with a pretty woman
Go to collect fall leaves with a child/grandchild/niece/nephew/cousin
Go to breathe fresh air
Go to get some wind in your hair/sun on your back
Hunting does not need to be "the" primary activity but the fact that you are also being cognizant of the chance to bring home a grouse, hare, deer, bear, hog, turkey, squirrel, posum, racoon, duck, goose, moose, elk, caribou....... or what ever is legal in your area changes everything for the better.
That was a good article.
