I am called DOC, I am 81, I have been shooting BP and a NMLRA Member since about 1963. I have a number of BP rifles, pistols and shotguns. I did the rendezvous circuit in the 80s out West (I lived in CO.) then I did the Eastern Longhunter thing from the lated 80s until about 2005. I retired and moved home to Texas. I remained an active shooter for fun and relaxation.
Gun builder Jackie Brown from Walnut, MS. is just finishing up a .45 Tulle flintlock and I should have it in the next couple of weeks. I am looking forward to shooting it. It has a Colerain bbl, with the round bottom rifling.
i will try and find some of my old pix tp post.
That's it for now.
THANKS agin for having me.

Oh, hey, we'll take just about anybody!:)But seriously, I'm # 538 One-of-One Thousand NMLRA and just got the June issue which has a nice article about Flints, padding for them, freshening up, sizes, etc., which would really help any newbies. I always recommend the magazine to people for the good info therein. Regards, Art
