For those who have one or just might know is the barrel the same diameter as the 54? Was going to call Bobby and see if it's possible to bore a 54 out to a 12ga

It's quit possibly the same. But,
The hang up is the holes they drill for the sights, the factory 12ga barrel has none.
His response to a 1" oct barrel is that it can go no larger than 62
