I found this strangely modern wheellock from 1620 on the net. This is a really stream-lined design.

A nice undercover firearm. Maybe used by the Danish secret police? :hmm:


It is a .59 cal
 
Seems as though it might be a replica, how could an original still be in the white? Screws look newly polished. Still, an interesting piece!

According to the records, it was aquired before 1775. It has probably never been used.
