I had a Lyman frizzen fitted to my T/C lock and it resulted in a pan/ frizzen gap that is unacceptably large.
I'm thinking that if I sole the bottom of the frizzen it'll correct this.
I don't think it wise to work on the pan, as the vent blast could dislodge it or get under it. I've seen vent blast flame cut pans already.
I don't want to solder as it might effect the hardness. Plus, I've never soldered anything.
I'm thinking a high strength epoxy or a Lock Tite product of some kind would work. It's a no impact assembly and the blast passes under it, sooo...
Ideas?
Thanks!
