I just might start doing that. I have often spooked grouse and had them go up into the lower branches of a tree nearby while hunting for deer. My belt gun loaded with shot could easily take one. Same with the occasional rabbit I flush out.

That would work if I wanted to hunt both.
 
Well, I don't hunt small game while deer hunting; and still all I see is the tail end of fast deer. :v:
