Shotgun Handed Down

Hope this works. This is a shotgun handed down to me from my Grandfather through my Father. He never knew much about it and it just hung on a wall. The inside diameter at the muzzle makes it a 16 gauge. Condition is poor with no markings except some possible proof marks on the barrel underside. Please let me know if you want more photos. No, unfortunately. There is dry rot on the stock and the barrels may be clear but they seen to be paper thin.

Nice old family shotgun. A little light oil on the metal is all I would do to it. It’s of European make of the mid to late 1800s. I’m sure you understand that it isn’t a shooter but check if it is loaded from years gone by.
