This is by far my favorite pistol in my collection to shoot. It takes a bit of work to re-load but I'm getting better at it. I've found that after shooting two cylinders I have to give it a quick cleaning otherwise the cylinder becomes hard to get out. I didn't do quite as well as i would have liked that day but i did keep it on target at 30 yards. I was not able to do that with the 9mm PF9 that i was shooting a little before I made this video.

What are you using for grease or aren't you using grease?

Crisco indeed gets messy, but the fouling stays soft.

When I shoot a C&B revolver, I use Blue and Gray pistol patch, (my supply will soon be depleted) It is about the consistency of fresh caulk out of the tube, but stays soft. At the range, before shooting, I put a dab in the center hole of the cylinder and then place it in the gun and put the pin in. I use the same as grease over the ball. I have shot in excess of 100 shots in an afternoon. At most, I wipe the gun off with a few paper towels every four or five cylinders. Never had a problem with binding or difficulty removing the cylinder.

I normally use ballistol to lube the cylinder. That's probably where my problem is. I've used bore butter and i could get 5 cylinders out of it using that. The problem is it was almost 90 degrees that day and at that temperature bore butter becomes almost unusable.

Remingtons Rule !
I love mine and have never had it misfire
(can't say that about my 3rd model Dragoon) or had caps jam in it. I really like your vid :applause: whats your load for yours ?
