I have listed a couple posts & wanted to thank those who have replied. To introduce myself, I live in NE Iowa. I am getting back into smokepoles after a 15 yr. sabatical (doing other things). I missed the simplicity & true sport of the "muzzleloader". I will be building my own guns & of course buying & making some of the components. I am a journeyman Moldmaker & mold designer for the Plastics industry, so I may ask some questions that seem "stupid" to some & to others some of the thingsI come up with, may seem a little odd, I mean no offense & am trying to re-learn the aspects of building smokepoles. I also make custom knives on the side & only us exotic woods as scales. (its my stress releif from work).

If anyone wants to contact me on the side, here [email protected]

Again, I want to introduce myself & thank everyone for there replies.
