What food grade sealer is recommended for sealing a rum horn? I plan on using white oak for the end plugs and filling it with Bourbon.

I've used beeswax for years on my rum horns and leather canteens, the only problem with that is hanging them empty in the direct sun on a hot day, wax can melt and then needs to be redistributed inside the vessel, brewers pitch will work also if you don't mind your bourbon with a gin or piney after taste! there are also several food grade epoxies available, I have not tried any of them.
