Anyone ever hear of or see a replacement hammer for a T/C caplock made by a company called RMG? I saw one on a T/C lock being auctioned on Ebay today. Never seen anything like it, it had long spur that laid down the side of the stock rather than a short one pointed up. I've built some long spurred hammers similar to this design over the years but have never seen or heard of RMG. Have you?

The only thing good bout getting old is it sure beats the alternative. I aint scared of dieing mind you, but its just too permanent is what I dont like bout the idea.

Sounds like a hammer designed to clear a peep sight or scope. Pictures would help. Never heard of RMG, sure it isn't RMC?

That sounds like a replacement hammer that was carried in the Dixie Gun Works catalog, although I don't know who made them.....................watch yer top knot................
