When a wedge can be driven in to the stop and doesn’t get tight there are a couple of ways to address this issue. This time I decided to make a new wedge that is wider to tighten up the pistol. Measurements taken the body is mild steel with 1/16” spring stock to make the small spring that we are all familiar with. A common nail provides the rivet and when the wedge is finished I’ll rust blue it. A lot of work but what else can a gezzer do on a winter day?
