about 27 yrs ago i got a remington 44 cap and ball kit.dont remember the brand.assembled the kit which included screwing the barrel into the frame.to sight it in i installed the barrel linning the front sight with the rear groove.fired a couple shots and turned the barrel just slightly every couple shots until sighted in.turned out to be a great shootin gun.forget how much 3F i put in but it was full enough that the round ball was flush with end of cylinder.my brother had his 44mag and we shot into a block of wood and my shots went farther into the wood than his did.we were very impressed with this ,my other brother wanted it ,i sold it to him ,he doesnt have it any more but it was a fine revolver.... :results:
