There's always the wet blanket nomenclature police that patrol every internet gun forum šŸ˜ƒ

A revolver is not a pistol, a rifle is not a gun, an Enfield is a Rifle-Musket, if you shoot .575 minies you're a peasant, it's "Min-yay" not minnie, it's actually "Burton Ball" not Minie .....etc etc it gets exhausting

I think some people need to step away from their guns for a week, go for a nature hike, take their gf/wife out for a date night and take a deep breath , it's ok if people call an 1861 Springfield a "musket " or an 1863 Remington a Zouave. It doesn't really matter.

Every hobby has them, every internet forum has them, the Smith & Wesson forum used to make you use "R gun" instead of Ruger , certain people on here will look down their nose at you if you don't shoot at 1000m, it's just the nature of this hobby. Some people base their whole self esteem on this stuff. I don't so I just roll with it šŸ˜ƒ
