This is a cool little project. I started to work on it today but haven't been feeling very well and I have plenty of projects so thought I would offer it to someone else. The brass side plate is old and has been on it for some time but it would have had an iron triangle shaped plate originally. The lock screws hold it together well but removing those you will find that the stock is broken in three pieces. Should be easy to glue back together. Nice early piece with fluted barrel and non bridled frozen. Lock will need a sear as well as the cock. I don't think I would shoot it but if you want an original flintlock that doesn't cost an arm and a leg you can't go wrong with this. $225 plus shipping from Virginia.
