Is it really that difficult to re stock a rifle.Im thinking of doing one. It was built with a kit. The barrel and lock have to go in the same location. The original was inletted for lock, butt plate and triggers. My thinking is order the same thing. Pecatonicas stocks are about as close to being the same as you can get far as I know.To me the biggest thing would be getting the tang bolt drilled correctly. The lock kinda dictates a lot.

Can you call and order the stock without the lock inlet? That's the way I'd go. Do your own location and inletting.
