acquired in a deal 3 roundball molds. (1) rapine .500 (2) lee.445 (3) lee .535. question is would the .500 be uses for an oversize 50 cal, and the same for the.445 for an oversized 45 cal. i realize the 535, is for a 54 cal.
 
Some guy's likw to use bore size ball and a thin patch.
445 is just like the 535 in a 54. Some rifle like different size ball.
It's really a matter of experimentation.

Bores are not consistent. Designations like '45 caliber' or '50 caliber' are only general, not specific. Although, I'll admit, in this day of so many factory made guns being popular there is a lot of standardization. You have to try them. Some shooters, like me, use the larger for target shooting and smaller for hunting. Experiment to find best for your guns.
