Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
Does anyone remember who made reproduction powder flasks in the good ole USA? Recently picked up a Colt style and is stamped as in the title and would like to know who might have made it for curiosities sake. TIA!
Do not know who made them, but am also curious. CVA sold a lot of these Made in USA marked reproduction flasks. EMF Company also sold them.
For a while they were available with " Colts Patent " embossed on the front like the originals. At some point Colt probably threatened legal action or sued as I have seen quite a few Made in USA flasks with a plain oval embossing/stamping obliterating the " Colts Patent " embossing.
This past weekend I bought one with the " Colts Patent " marking at a gun show.
