Selling a reproduction 18th century, hand-forged polled belt axe made by Ben Hoffman.
I am the original owner - it has never been used or sharpened. I have owned it for a few years now and it is still plenty sharp.
The handle is maple (I believe) and is 16" long. The head is 6 1/4" long and is 2 3/8" straight across the cutting surface.
If my scale is accurate, it weighs a total of 17.2 ounces

Asking $200 - shipping, insurance and tracking provided.

I love Ben Hoffman’s work. I have a boucheron he made and it’s top notch.
Is there a wedge in this belt axe or purely friction fit?
