This is a German pistol that started it's career as a flintlock, upgraded to percussion along the way. Someone dropped it and broke the hammer. Jeff Miller of Flintlock Forge did the repair! The smoothbore is .570 or so.

Where was the break on the hammer. Did he weld it, braze it or make a new one ?
 
the cup back to the thumb hold was missing. He is a master blacksmith and gun builder.
