My most ambitious one yet. I think it turned out good.

Head and handle from REDavis
Brass head with file steel bit
Fine silver, brass and copper inlay
Poured pewter mouthpiece
Stained with, super blue, heat blushed x2
6coats tung oil hand rubbed in

Impressive piece of work!
Would one actually be able to smoke tobacco from it?
 
You bet, it is drilled and ready.
Now, I have smoked through pipe hawks, well they don't generally due justice to the tobaccos flavor.

Personally I stick to clay or burl for smoking.
