For sale is my Pedersoli Mortimer. This rifle is super reliable because the lock is so nice. The lock is color case hardened, and even has a safety. Lots of parts like the trigger guard and stock hardware are color case hardened. The rifled barrel is in 54 caliber, octagon to round with a wedding band at the transition. The barrel is held by two captures wedges. Rear sight is composed of two folding leafs. Front sight was put on by me, it is a fiber optic for hunting. I may have the original in my shooting box. Stock features a raised cheek piece, and deep checkering. The finish on the stock is a varnish, and it chips and scratches pretty easy. I hunted this rifle, so the finish has nicks and scratches. I was going to strip it, and put on an oil finish, but I never got around to it.
So I think this would certainly rate a good condition rifle that has been in the field.
These are on Gunbroker for 1558.00. I think that is the standard price. I figure 500 less for wear and tear is a great deal and should make the next owner happy. So I need 1050.00 for local pick up in Central Pennsylvania. If you want shipping I can do that, but it will be at your cost. I imaging about 50 bucks depending on destination.

For some reason, the forum won't show some pictures i have loaded on IMGUR. They show up as an icon? If you need any more pics I can email or text them.

How about a price reduction to 975.00? Hope that works for someone. Great rifle, probably one of the best from Pedersoli.

895.00 plus actual shipping from zipcode16801. I can also meet somewhere near Central PA.
