Does anyone know of a retail establishment, sporting good store, pawn, etc, anywhere in the S.E. or midwest US that has a Pedersoli Frontier or a Cabela's Blue RIdge rifle in stock, flint .45 preferred, on the rack that I can pick up and inspect? Might make it part of a open itinerary driving vacation I have coming up. I have never seen one or touched one, just read about them. I know they are available online, but most places like Midway, Wholesale Hunter, LG Outdoors, etc, have a no-return policy, and I just have a fundamental issue with buying something online sight unseen, for not-small $$ (for me), without the ability to return it. Any response greatly appreciated.

ETA: respectfully please don't flame me or tell me how good Kiblers are; just need something right now, I might consider a Kibler in the future.

You can check the Flintlocks, etc. company,
or this fellow:

Bridgeport Equipment & Tool

Both of these places are mail order which is what you didn't want to do but I thought Flintlocks, etc company had the .45 in the deluxe model in stock. You could check with them if they have any return policy. If you have a Cabela's or Bass Pro shops near you, you can call them and see if they have any in stock you can look at.

Thanks Ohio Rusty . Yes, I'm a Cabela's Club member. Last month I called them and they showed, out of all their locations, only 1 store in Nevada with a single Blue Ridge in stock. I called that store, because they'll ship store-to-store, but the guy said it was an error, that they had not seen a Blue Ridge in over 2 years lol. Just today I checked the Cabela's web site and they have removed it! I think Cabela's has dropped it altogether!!!

Update: I just gave up and ordered a Kibler kit. Can't find what I want off the shelf. If you cant beat 'em join 'em. Guess I'll be learning how to put a kit together real soon.
