Hello,

I shoot a Pedersoli 1858 Rem. 1/100 limited serie that I bought in 2004.
The metallic parts are "chromed" and "satin" finished. The gun is delivered with two handles : one is finished and black and another raw one to finish himself.
The nipples supplied are berrylium (ampco) ones.
All parts are numbered. Mine is 98/100.
Is anybody the owner of the same limited model ?

I use .454 rb with 18 grains of Swiss n°2.
What is your experience with this cap'n ball ?

No experience with that particular pistol, but I have one similar...an Armsport '58 Remmy in cal 44,SS finish. It shoots well; I am very comfortable with it.
I use Pyrodex "P", around 30gr for best accuracy, 35 for full-house loads.
I also shoot Lee hand-cast conicals. I am happy with these as well and would not hesitate to use it on smaller game.

I think you will really enjoy shooting it.
