The ONWTR is coming up next month. It will be in Michigan this year. A long drive for me but hopefully there will be a lot of people there who don't usually come down to Ohio or Kentucky. I will have the ice cream freezer rehydrated apples and a ham to barbeque with spice berries. If you attend please stop by the camp. :hmm:

Going to guess old north west regional rendezvous, was at TSWRR last year although it was more of a mud fest

ONWTR stands for the Old Northwest Territorial Rendezvous, It is put on by the National Rendezvous and Living History Foundation and is held once a year at various locations,that are located in or near what was the original Northwest Territory. It is a pre- 1840 encampment with period correct events and plenty of good camp food fellowship and drink. :idunno:

We were in Phoenix several years ago and we were going along on Traders Row and there was a group from the Primitive Camp.

There was one fellow dressed in his buck skins which needed a major cleaning, he smelled.

My wife was laughing and I asked what is so funny, she pointed to the fellow carrying his rifle and a "Blue Tooth" was stuck in his ear.

Period correct I guess.

Our local club has a standing rule:" If a cell phone rings on the line, the range is closed, the phone hung at the fifty yard line, the range is opened ,and every one gets one shot at it!" We don't have many phones ring on the line! :idunno:

Stopped by the Old north west for a while, nice camp about 100 some camps, not near as big as in the past but what is in the muzzleloader game, still worth the effort and hope things cont.
