One-of-One Thousand Nearing End at NMLRA

The NMLRA's campaign to fund a million-dollar sustaining account for the organization is nearing it's end. The latest Muzzle Blasts informs that only about 85 'slots' are left. The premise was to have 1000 people donate $1000 each to set up an un-touchable account that would generate interest for the financial health of the Ass'n. I've got my silver pin, David Wright fine art print, and name on the Wall at Friendship even though I may never get out that way! I wonder if the final #1000 will be put up for auction, much like the #500 was put up for bid? It's good to see the campaign finally come to a successful conclusion!

Apparently it took longer than they expected to get to the One Thousand mark. I joined at #538 mid-way. Glad it's coming to an end, I think it's been about 20 years if my memory serves.
