I haven’t shot my black powder rifle in a while and wanted to get back doing so. My current rifle is a Thompson Center New Englander in 50 caliber. But what I want is a fast twist 45.
My first experience was as a 15 year old (60 years ag) with a smooth bore someone had made and shot a few pigeon and managed to burn my eyebrows! Gun was confiscated by father. Anyway, love muzzleloaders and when it gets warmer will go to range.
