Wow! After reading all these posts, I realize how great I have had it all these years. I married the girl of my dreams and my best friend when we were both 19 years old, right out of high school. We have spent the past 50 years together and it's been wonderful. She doesn't care much what I buy and I don't care what she buys (we both have worked hard our entire lives and made decent money). I try not to get too crazy with buying stuff and she does the same so I guess I am one very lucky guy!
My wife and I have about the same relationship. Although my wife hunts with me, goes to rondyvous with me.. not as a side kick, but a participant. We enjoy the great outdoors, wether it’s simply landscaping, gardening, mowing or going to woods to do improvements. My wife is the best!

That's awesome.

I think long guns and hand guns all look alike to her. MA Deuce on a tripod? Probably NOT.

She is accustomed to my cannons and they don't generally live indoors. Except for the Stokes mortar, which is sort of a pet.
I DO think a black powder replica of the recoiless rifle would be a lot of fun.

I would like to think we are.been together for 40 years. I've helped her train for 24 marathons, including 5 Boston marathons.
She has helped me with my endeavors. We are best friends and enjoy each other.
She is trying to talk me into shooting the Quigley with my muzzleloader.
You are a lucky man!!

As far as Beards go: when mine drags across my dinner plate or she complains I have egg yoke, honey, syrup dripping through it, I tell her it's a Beard Conditioning Treatment, "Do you have any idea how much guys pay for a treatment like this down at the Beard Saloon?".
And as for crumbs and little bits, I tell her "Hey, how do you know I wasn't saving that for later or maybe it was for the Beard Mouse that lives in there?!".
She reached over one day to pick a crumb out of my beard and a tiny wooden cane Smacked her hard on the knuckle then a little sign popped out that said "Beard Mice Lives Matter!", she hasn't tried that again since....or was that the time the mouse hit her with his Taser...it gets rather dry and static around here.
