It has a loading tool for the cylinder. You remove the cylinder, load it, then use the tool to compress each round.

It uses a Lee .17 dipper, not sure exactly what that equates to.

Cool little pocket piece. They recommend 4f black powder. Not common piece.
In the 1800's they actually nade similar derringers for gamblers etc.
