Here is a photo of the accuracy comparison between soft lead on the right and 95/5 solder on the left. I forgot to write the 50 yard distance on the targets. The lead balls weigh 175 gr and the 95/5 weigh 125. They are also hard, about Brinell 28. The conclusion is obvious. I was having a little trouble seeing the front sight so there is some vertical dispersion. It was also pointed out that if the balls are not on the approved non toxic list they wouldn't be legal anyway. I suppose the same could be said if I shot marbles or rocks out of my rifle. I added the patches to show how I make patch hunting easier. I dye them with Rit dye so they show up better.
