I have had my grandfathers Marble knife sence he passes on in 1976. He got it as a wedding present in 1920. Up until about ten years ago I skinned all my elk, deer, critters etc... with that knife than lo and behold Marble started selling knifes again and just as good as the orginals.
I bought two and sleathed them in seperate sheathes.
I decided I wanted them together on my hip for better access.
My grampies Marble sits in a new "tacked" sheath in the bottom of my ruck sack where I use it on "special" situations.
Haven't stained the double sheath yet but will be stained a dark pattern.

Nice Gman, I did that very same thing for a friend last year. He carrys a two knife setup and made a double sheath just like you did here for him. Works great.

When I moved to CO I relized I needed a big work horse knife and smaller boning knife on elk size game, that and a Gransforth Brunk ax from Sweden.
Hay thanks for the bow info, I'm gonna go cheep and build a traditional crossbow this winter than when I get serious I'm gonna get one of them new fangled ones.
