I'am a retired die maker 74 years old. I have hunted with a muzzle loader for around 60 years. Built my first a Bedford long rifle at 24
Before that I used a E.B.White S.B. original made in N.H. o.k. up to 50 yards. Never shot a flintlock so I'am building one now hope to get out to a few shoots this summer. I will be getting the clothes together I need. Went to a shoot as a on looker. This looks like a lot of fun.

Welcome aboard, good to see more folks from the Northeast. Lots of activity in this corner of the country. Have fun.

Sorry guys I'am still learning my way around this site. I do not know where my reply went. But thank you!

Welcome to our forum my friend! We are truly honored to have you. I have a brother who lives in Taunton MA. I myself lived there for about 8 years when I got out of the service. Sure miss the sea food!!

Let me take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about our forum and its members.

This forum is the very best when it comes to Traditional Muzzleloader's and BP shooting. All the other aspects that go along with it are covered as well!

You will find like minded folks as yourself here. The majority of our members have decades of knowledge and experience. They would be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have. We would also love to hear what you might want to share with us as well!

Our forum is a very friendly and lively place. New topics are being created on a daily basis. Something new for you to checkout all the time!

I can guarantee that you will learn something new each and every time you visit this forum. I personally learned more in just one year here than all the others combined. You will too! You've been shooting yourself for quite a number of years! Your gonna be a great addition to this forum.

Again, We are honored to have ya amongst our ranks and we also look forward to hearing more from you in the very future.

Welcome aboard my friend!

Respectfully, Cowboy 🤠

Your right Cowboy this is a very busy site. I have found things on here that have helped me in my research of a Revolutionary War powder horn I just bought. I found the information by mistake, just reading the forms. Very excited ! Thank you for your time to welcome me.
Sorry about the login name its one I have used for 20 or more years.
I guess I was not thinking.
