So the barrel is not finished and neither is the stock. The sights are not perfect but I will sight it in Friday. Going to hunt with it anyway if it shoots worth a bean. How many of you have hunted with a rifle that is not quite finished? Looking forward to next Monday. GC

I am getting ready to head out thursday for a bull elk with a not finished, pieced together composite of interarms stock, unknown but good trigger and a GMH .50 barrel. It does shoot well for elk sized game and with 450 grain conical, I get about a 2-3" group at 75 yds from cross sticks. It looks very rough, but I am hopeful the elk won't mind.
