Hello to all. Just joined, I've owned muzzleloaders since I was in Jr. High School. My love started with a general love for hunting and the outdoors and more specifically I feel in love after seeing Jerimiah Johnson. Started with a brass framed CVA 1858 Remington pistol kit that I had to finish. Soon moved on to a CVA Hawken. Those are long gone. Currently I have a .50 Lyman Great Plains Rifle as well as an Uberti .54 Hawken. I'm currently making some repairs to the Uberti (it was a trade deal and had a couple issues). The GPR has been out hunting this year, although without a shot fired at game so far.

Thanks for the forum, I look forward to hanging around the campfire.
