I am very interested in an 1803 Harper's Ferry Rifle. However, complete guns are no longer available since Euroarms is out of business. There was one recently on Gunbroker, but I lost the bid.

There are a number of kits available, however, I do not have the talent ... and more importantly ... I do not have the tools to assembly a kit myself.

Are their any craftsmen out there that are familiar with these kits and would be willing to build one? If so, please feel free to contact me so we can get a discussion started.

I would like to have it ready for June's NMLRA Event in Friendship.

Thanks,
Terry

Yeah, that time frame may be a bit optimistic, I was on the wait list for two and a half years for the last build I had done.

I've never liked the looks of the lock on the Dixie (Uberti?) Harper's Ferry rifle/pistol. It's a rather odd rendering. Good shooters though.

I build an am not too far from you; Eastern KY. Of the guns I have built one was an 1803 HF. If you are interested email me and we can discuss it. Also I will send a picture and references.
