I just layed down in bed.had to go back again and look at that pic.if a person dont see the beauty in that scene they will never see what we are seeing.a moment captured in time.thank u again for sharing that memory

It’s called a “Bentley”
Also known as the 'sign of the southern cross', or an easy way to see 'this one has issues'. 🤣

I joke heartily. Both of my boys sport Bentley marks. I will have rescued Heelers for the rest of my days. They are masters of personality.

Waidmannsheil German Jäger... nice Woodsrunner. I really miss hunting in Germany, had my Jagdschein a few years back. Below is a dated photo when hunting for Gamswild in the Alps. Glad to see Kibler kits are making it to Germany... ready to start my Woodsrunner soon.

What great photos!
I was so engrossed in your dog and Woods runner rifle that I didn't notice your hunting bag! Is this something typically used locally? It's outstanding! I have some heavy material from which I might be able to construct one that is similar.
Family lore says that we had an ancestor that was a "Game warden" ' somewhere near Gelsenkirchen.
I have a plain original Jaeger rifle. Now I need a bag and flat powderhorn.

Hello back at all! The Bag have i buy at a Shop here in Germany! It a heavy and absolut quiet Material with an inner second bag that was holding with 2 Knobs! I have today buy a Leather Hunting Bag in Canada in 18 Century Style an was very satisfyed if it came here to me..today i also start with my first own build powderhorn please help what can i use to blacked the frontpart of the horn ?
