The soft cases are nice to go back and forth to the range or rendezvous I have a Cabela's aluminum case for flying and bought a super nice bear track case a couple years ago I got a smoking good deal on it. I have to ship my aluminum case to Alaska in a few weeks so my new built trade rifle can be shipped to me without damage it's probably going to increase the cost by about 300 dollars or so just because of the weight and length of the box yikes !!
