Has anyone had experience with mule earred percussion locks?
Are they dependable? Is it easy to change a rifle from a regular percussion to a mule ear?

I have a Mule Ear lock & it is real dependable & super fast ignition, as the nipple is screwed straight into the barrel. Don't know how you would convert a lock to fit the inlet ya have tho, in reference to you converting a rifle.. This rifle was made as a Mule Ear & the lock is quite crude but effective.
