SOLD pending funds. I have a sweet little .45 Mowrey that I took in trade a while back. I no longer shoot percussion, and this gun has not been fired by me. It is in excellent condition. The wood is figured, the finish on the metal is excellent. It obviously has been well cared for. A fine, American made, and handy little rifle. $625 plus shipping to your door.

Good Day!
Would you please give the barrel length, rifling twist (if you know) and overall weight? The first photo appears to show the buttplate as a standard crescent style. is that correct? It's a little unclear from the angle. Some had a heavier, almost Schuetzen type.
Thanks for your time and help.
Best,
Garret

barrel length is 28 inches, weight around 6.5, 1inch in 66 is best guess because it is a round ball shooter.crescent butt plate. hope that answers all your questions. I updated the pictures

Thanks for the updated info! I've been researching these a bit more and two additional questions come to mind:
Is this marked Texas or Indiana?
Some reports relate weak mainsprings, possible age related.... Will this spring have enough "oomph" to detonate a cap?

I'm liking the looks a lot and the lighter weight at 6.5 lbs sounds like a good carry piece. What payment methods are good for you?

I will split the shipping so send a check for 650 to Nick Pierce 74 Decker Road Mercer Maine 04947 and your address and I will ship it to you if you think that is fair. And if anything the hammer is stiff, suggesting very little use.

wheres the pic with the sellers name? Lots of scammers these days
How does that (a pic, with redundant information) prevent scamming, if it's listed by someone registered on the forum. That makes no sense to me. Could someone enlighten me? I see it's an addition to the rules, but I don't understand how it does anything.

Thanks for the explanation Eterry. I never figured someone would even think about copying pictures to post on here.
