I use RIG also. Mostly as a long term rust proofer for storage or as an anti galling lube on stainless guns. It's aweful greasy and messy though, so I don't use it much on my muzzleloaders unless I'm going to put them in storage for a while. It'd probably be the best thing to use on the underside of the barrel and as a lock and trigger group lube. I just use CorrosionX because it's quicker and less messy.
