I want to make a wingbone call from the turkey i just got but have no idea how to go about it. I have the 3 bones from the right wing, don't want no left wing liberal call, and cleaned them off. Now what? Do they get cut before they are boiled. If so, where do i cut them? Then what? Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, this is what i just made. Still need to let the epoxy dry and then sand it. Sounds pretty good though.

Nice Reb :hatsoff: I wonder what kinda sound the one from the left wing would make?Somethin like
"RUN AWAY,RUN AWAY" :shocked2: :haha:

Here are some sites that will help you out. They are easy to make. I did not bleach the ones I made, I did not want them shiny white.

Thanks for the link.I wondered how those things work.I want one.Just gotta get a bird first.

I really like the sound of a wing bone call. Very few other hunters use them, which helps make them more effective. I boil the bones to help soften up the meat and tissue to help in removal. Then I put the bones in hydrogen proxide to whitten the bones. Next the bones are cut to fit inside each other. Once you have them fitted just glue them together. Art work with scrimshaw or india ink adds character. It's a water proof call that works wonders.
